Jeromesville was founded in 1815 and named in honor of Mr. Jean Baptiste Jerome, a French Canadian fur trader who settled near a Native American community. As one of the oldest communities in Ashland County, Jeromesville remains steadfast in upholding its traditions, while constantly striving to be efficient, responsive and innovative in serving the community.

The Jeromesville local government is committed to providing excellent community services to its constituents and dedicated to  preserving this "diamond in the rough" for future generations.
